The California Transportation Foundation (CTF) and the California Department of Transportation, Planning programs are offering three $1,000 scholarships to promising student assistants or student interns. These scholarships are intended to recognize, encourage, and assist outstanding students who are pursuing a baccalaureate or graduate degree in planning or a related field. Applicants must have a demonstrated interest in working in the planning profession.

Eligibility Requirements

• Employment with CT as a paid student assistant, volunteer, or qualifying intern at time of application.
• Enrollment in an accredited college or university, and majoring in a planning related field such as: Urban or Regional Studies, Public Policy, Public Administration, Environmental Policy or Studies, Geography, Sociology, Political Science, Landscape Architect or Economics.
• Maintenance of a cumulative GPA of 2.70 or better.
• Plans to pursue a career in Transportation Planning after graduation.
