BRIDGE REHABILITATION PROJECT ON STATE ROUTE 78
Project Receives $1.5 Million in Federal Stimulus Funding
Riverside County – Caltrans will begin a $4 million project to rehabilitate the bridge at the Palo Verde Drain Canal in Blythe on September 21st. This is one of fourteen projects in District 8 to receive federal stimulus funding.
Work hours are from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. SR-78 will be closed at the bridge and traffic will detour using 35th Avenue and Rannels Boulevard. Project completion is anticipated to be late December 2009.
