Inquiry #1: The Public Road Intersection conform detail on sheet C-1 indicates that the conform will be ground and re-paved with 0.10' of RHMA-G, however the summary of quantities on sheet Q-1 shows that this is paid as HMA. Please confirm that the intersection conforms are paid as RHMA-G and correct bid items 15 & 16 to reflect this condition as appropriate.

Response #2: Public road intersections are to be paved and paid as Hot Mix Asphalt (Type A). The notation for back-slanted hatching was inadvertently dropped out of the legend for Construction Details C-1 (sheet 3 of the plans). The back-slanted hatching area depicted in the "Public Road Conform Taper" detail also represents HMA (Type A), but does not get cold planed.
