Inquiry #2: 1) Is this project "Buy American"?
2)PEMB panel specs call for three minor ribs between the major ribs.Can we use a panel with two minor ribs between the major ribs?
3)Will structural steel for PEMB need to be hot dipped galvanized?
4)Will colors for PEMB be picked from manufacturers standard colors?

Response #2:No soils report available for the project. The allowable soil values were based on CBC minimums and past projects. Excavation will only be required for footings, slabs and pavement

Inquiry #5: Per the elevations for the Sandhouse shown on A2-1 and A2.2, there aren’t any louvers designed into the envelope of the building yet there is an exhaust fan. Are any louvers required for fresh air intake into the Sandhouse?

Response #1:The exhaust fan has a back draft damper that is included in the exhaust fan assembly. It is specified in the mechanical plans and specified in the mechanical portions of the special provisions.

Inquiry #6: Electrical Switchgear manufacturers are indicating that the new 400 amp 3 ph 4w main panel and disconnect needs to be a stand up section and not a wall hung unit. Please verify whether or not this is an acceptable solution.

Inquiry #13: On sheet ST2-0 (Project Design Criteria) there is reference to 2007 CBC or 2006 IBC and under seismic Loads the Ss= 0.3562 (USGS has Fawnskin listed at .1832) S1= 0.1759 (USGS has Fawnskin listed at .0745) Please clarify correct load requirement as this effects the design and ultimately the price.
