Response #2:Note #2 on Sheet Irrigation Removal(IR)-1 describes the location of the Existing Controller Cabinet, Controller Z is inside that Cabinet. More specifically, it is located on the Southbound shoulder, in a pullout area on Route 101 SB Lanes, approximately station 114+00. Sheet IR-1 also shows the Route of CNC(control and neutral conductors) using Caltrans standard symbology. CNC is existing at the current valve locations and is operational, this CNC should be used for the new RCVs(Remote control valves). The CNC item in Engineers Estimate is only intended for short runs as needed to connect new valves to existing CNC in the crossovers. This is shown on the plans as CNC from the 'C' connect symbol to the valve locations.
