Structure Construction
Structure Construction provides quality engineering oversight for Construction projects throughout the State, ensuring that projects are built to conform to the construction contract plans and specifications.
Services provided by the Office of Structure Construction include:
- Construction Engineering
- Technical Inspection
- Contract Administration
- Independent quality assurance on locally administered structure projects on the State highway system
- Technical support for the design and construction of falsework and shoring
- Constructability plan reviews
- A variety of technical manuals were written and reproduced for construction work such as: bridge deck, falsework, foundations, prestressing operations, trenching and shoring, and bridge construction records and procedures
