EMERGENCY STORM REPAIR WORK ON SR 299 BUCKHORN GRADE
Emergency storm repair work will begin on Saturday, February 14, 2015 on Buckhorn Grade between post miles 3.0 and 4.3 between Redding and Weaverville. Crews will be clearing trees and performing slope repair. There will be one-way traffic control Monday-Saturday from 7:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m. with pilot cars and flaggers. Motorists could experience delays of up to 35 minutes. Emergency repair work is expected to take 60 days. Please plan accordingly so you can reach your destination on time.
SR 97 NEAR WEED
In Siskiyou County, preliminary work on the Angel Maple Shoulder Widening Project on State Route 97 near Weed is underway. One way traffic control with a pilot car and flaggers will be in effect Monday-Friday between 6:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. between Angel Valley Rd. and Maple Avenue. Vegetation removal should take about four weeks. The remaining work will resume in May or June.
