2014 CALTRANS PROJECTS ON STATE ROUTE 299 BETWEEN REDDING AND WEAVERVILLE

One way traffic control will be in effect April 21, 2014 through April 25, 2014 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., 4 miles east of the Trinity/Shasta county line to 2.6 miles west of Crystal Creek Rd., weather permitting. Delays could be up to 25 minutes.

**Maintenance crews will be paving on SR 299 April 28, 29, 30, and May 1, 5, 6, 7, 8 at various locations from Crystal Creek Road to just west of Pinecrest Rd. One way traffic control will be in effect from 7:00 a.m. through 4:00 p.m. Delays are expected to be about 12 minutes.

STATE ROUTE 299 BELLA DIDDY PROJECT


This project from Bella Vista to Diddy Wells is in the beginning stages. Tree clearing is currently taking place. Crews will break for winter suspension and are expected to resume excavations and drainage operations in late March.This project includes widening of Salt Creek Bridge, construction of a new bridge at Lemm Creek, widening of the roadway to provide 8 foot shoulders, and paving.
